- New rules have been applied for all new YouTube channels from 16th January 2018
- For existing channels this rule will be applied from 20th February.
- All YouTube channels need minimum 4000 watch hours and 1000 subscribers within past 12 months to join YouTube Partner Program (YPP).
- Existing channels below the requirement will not be able to monetize the videos from 20th Feb 2018.
- Channels that couldn’t reach the minimum threshold limit of 100$ and the YouTube Partner Program’s new requirement will be paid.
I was about to start making YouTube videos at the starting of the year in 2015. Then I had so many unsorted questions on my mind. I used to think making YouTube videos was not possible without a digital camera. I didn’t have money to buy a digital camera for myself that time. So I asked to my father to buy me a digital camera. I was so excited then because I used to think I will make lots of money instantly from YouTube by making tutorial videos. The first camera I bought for making YouTube videos was Nikon coolpix. In this article I am sharing my story how I started my YouTube career, the mistakes I made and what kind of problems I faced.
Internet is the place where we can create our passive source of money. Most of the people think to create a passive source besides their active income. This is the basic question that will first appear when you are thinking about making money from YouTube video uploading. Actually, we don’t make money for uploading videos on YouTube. We make money when we monetize our video with Google Adsense program. Monetize means to earn revenue from (an asset, business, etc.). Here asset is our videos that we upload on YouTube. Once our video has been submitted and approved for monetization, YouTube will place ads inside or near the video.
