Generative Engine Optimization · From $100/mo · No Contract

Your Customers Are Asking AI. Make Sure It Answers With You.

People no longer scroll ten blue links — they ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overview and act on the answer they get. If your business is not one of the sources those answers cite, you are invisible at the exact moment someone decides. We make you citable, and we track the number every month.

Quick answer

Blogrator’s Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) helps businesses get cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Claude and Google AI Overviews, from $100 a month: $100 tracks 20 buying-intent prompts and restructures 2 key pages, $199 tracks 50 prompts and adds 2 answer-shaped articles a month, and $299 tracks 100 prompts across multiple locations, services or languages. You get a citation report every month; nobody can guarantee a mention.

Buyer questions

Does this actually bring customers?

On our own site it does: ChatGPT sent blogrator.com more than 120 visitors between July and September 2026, and several of our recent clients found us by asking ChatGPT or Claude. We show you the numbers on the call.

What do you need from me?

Access to your website and Google Search Console, your list of services and locations, and the questions your customers really ask. We build the prompt set from those.

Will GEO help my Google rankings too?

Usually, yes. Answer-first pages, clear facts and structured data also help Google, and Google’s AI Overviews draw on its own search index.

What does the monthly report show?

Which prompts cite you, which competitors are cited instead, AI-assistant visits in GA4, and what we changed that month.

Five Steps, Repeated Every Month

1

Baseline what AI says about you today

We run a fixed set of buying-intent prompts across all five engines and record who gets cited for each one — you, a competitor, or nobody. That becomes the number everything is measured against.

2

Make the site machine-readable

llms.txt, clean schema, and a consistent statement of your core facts — services, prices, areas served, hours, credentials — so a model reading your site cannot get them wrong or contradict itself.

3

Restructure pages to answer, not to introduce

Each key page gets its answer in the first paragraph, with comparison tables and FAQ blocks in the format models actually lift. Your human readers benefit from exactly the same change.

4

Build corroboration off your own site

Models weight agreement across sources. We work on consistent listings, relevant third-party mentions and genuine participation where your buyers ask questions — never fake reviews or spam.

5

Re-run the prompts and report

Every month you get the same prompt set re-run, your citation share, which competitors displaced you, your AI-referral traffic from GA4, and what we are changing next.

Already on one of our SEO plans? The research overlaps, so the combination is discounted — ask on the call. GEO also pairs naturally with the $50/mo Website Care plan, which keeps the technical foundation from drifting.

What We Will Not Tell You About GEO

This field is two years old and full of confident nonsense. Here is where we draw the line.

That we can guarantee a mention

There is no submission form, no ranking dial and no paid placement inside these models. Anyone promising guaranteed ChatGPT placement is either misinformed or lying. We move a measured number and show you the measurement.

That it replaces Google

AI search is smaller in volume than conventional search and will be for a while. It converts better because intent is higher, but it is an addition to your SEO, not a substitute for it.

That it works in a fortnight

Retrieval-based engines like Perplexity and Copilot can move within weeks. ChatGPT and Gemini lag behind their refresh cycles. Expect first movement in 4–8 weeks and a real picture by month three.

That we invented a proprietary score

We report citation counts, citation share and referral sessions — numbers you can verify yourself in your own Bing Webmaster Tools and GA4. No black-box index only we can calculate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Generative Engine Optimization, in plain English?

When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot or Google's AI Overviews a question, the model writes an answer and cites a handful of sources. GEO is the work of becoming one of those cited sources. It is not about ranking on a page of blue links - there is no page and there are no rankings. It is about being the thing the model reaches for when it answers a question your customer is asking.

How is this different from the SEO you already sell?

They overlap but they are not the same job. SEO optimises for a ranked list; GEO optimises for being quoted inside a written answer. Search engines reward keyword-matched pages, while generative engines reward clearly-stated facts, direct answers near the top of a page, consistent entity information across the web, and corroboration from third-party sources. A page can rank on page two of Google and still be the source ChatGPT quotes - we have seen exactly that on our own site.

Can you guarantee my business will appear in ChatGPT?

No, and anyone who guarantees it is selling you something. There is no submission form, no ranking dial and no paid placement in these systems. What we can do is measurably increase how often you are cited, track that number month over month across the major assistants, and show you the queries where you appear and where your competitors do instead. If the number does not move, we will tell you and we will say why.

How do you measure something with no rankings?

Three ways. First, citation tracking: we run a fixed set of buying-intent prompts against ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Claude and Google AI Overviews each month and record who gets cited. Second, your own analytics: AI assistants pass a referrer, so ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot traffic is visible as its own channel in GA4. Third, Bing Webmaster Tools publishes an AI Performance report showing exactly which of your pages Copilot cited and for which grounding queries - that is real citation data, not an estimate.

What proof do you have that this works?

Our own site. Bing's AI Performance report shows 6,000 Copilot citations across 90 days, 5,100 of them earned by a single article. In the same period, visitors arriving from AI assistants spent 59 seconds on average engaged with the site, against 36 seconds from Google search and 13 seconds from direct traffic. We are not guessing at what makes a page quotable - we have watched it happen to our own pages and reverse-engineered it.

What actually changes on my website?

Mostly structure and clarity rather than volume. We add an llms.txt file and clean, machine-readable schema; restate your core facts (services, prices, areas served, hours, credentials) so they are unambiguous and consistent everywhere; restructure key pages so each one answers a specific question in the first paragraph rather than burying it under an introduction; and add comparison and FAQ blocks in the format models prefer to quote. Your visitors get a clearer site too, which is a fair test of whether the work was worth doing.

Do I need to already rank on Google for this to work?

No, and that is much of the appeal. Generative engines assemble answers from many sources and are far less dominated by domain authority than Google's top ten. A small business with genuinely clear, well-structured, corroborated content can be cited alongside brands that outrank it everywhere else. It is currently the least crowded channel in search.

How long before I see anything?

Model retraining and index refresh cycles mean the first citation movement usually shows in 4 to 8 weeks, with meaningful change by month three. Perplexity and Copilot, which retrieve live, tend to move first; ChatGPT and Gemini lag. We report monthly from the first month regardless, so you can watch it happen rather than take our word for it.

Does AI search actually send traffic worth paying for?

It sends less volume than Google and far higher intent, because the person has already had their question answered and is clicking through to act. On our own site AI-assistant visitors are the most engaged of any channel by a wide margin. We would rather you judge that on your own numbers than ours, which is why citation tracking and the GA4 channel breakdown are in the monthly report from day one.

Can I run this alongside my existing SEO?

Yes, and it works better that way. The technical foundation, entity consistency and content quality that GEO needs also help conventional rankings, and the two share most of the same research. If you are already on one of our SEO plans we discount the combination - ask on the call. If your SEO is with another agency, we work alongside them without touching their scope.

Your SEO: no tricks, no lock-in, everything stays yours

SEO is the service where trust matters most, because you cannot see most of the work. These are the rules we work by. These are written commitments; if you want them confirmed under the company name, reply to your order email and we will send them signed.

Our prices: $100, $199 or $299 a month depending on scope, for local SEO, SEO and AI-search (GEO) work. Month to month.

1. Do you guarantee rankings?

No. Nobody controls Google or ChatGPT, and a guarantee is a warning sign. We commit to the work and report it every month: what was published, fixed and earned, and what moved.

2. What methods do you use?

Only methods that survive a Google update: fixing the site, writing pages that answer what people search for, local citations, review generation, and links from outreach, digital PR and relevant guest posts. No private blog networks, no link farms and no doorway pages, and the links we earn are listed in your monthly report.

3. Who owns the content and the links?

You do. Every page, article, citation and profile is created on your site or in accounts in your name. When you leave, all of it stays.

4. Do I get access to the data?

Yes. Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Business Profile are set up in your Google account with us added as a user, so you can see every number independently, and remove us in one click.

5. What happens when I cancel?

The work stays, the rankings you have earned stay, and you receive a final report with everything we did and what to keep doing. Remove our access and there is nothing else to unwind. Month to month, no exit fee.

6. Are there extra costs?

Only if you choose them: paid directory listings, a review platform, or extra content beyond the plan, always quoted first. The monthly fee covers the work in the plan.
